Create your own Gmail theme colors
Now you can create your own theme colors for Google Gmail by going to Settings, clicking the Theme tab, and selecting Choose your own colors. You’ll see a popup window appear which will allow you to customize the color of every last aspect of your inbox, from text color and link colors to the color of your label box and the background color. This feature has been long overdue but it’s great to see the small improvements in Gmail to allow users to express themselves better with their inbox.
Color palettes appear as you click on different parts of the popup showing what colors you can choose. The color picker also allows people with visual disabilities to tweak Gmail into something more comfortable for them, whether it’s increasing the contrast between colors or ridding their inbox of bright white. If you ever get yourself into a state where your eyes start to hurt, the “Reset” button will let you revert to the defaults. What are you waiting for? Start experimenting with your bizarre ideas.
